About This Event
Ever wondered what it looks like to build real, production-level tech as a student?
Join us for the GDG Open Source Showcase, where our teams will be demoing the projects they have been building all year: from AI tools and LLM research to full-stack platforms and cloud-based systems.
You will get to see live demos, meet the people behind the projects, and hear what it is actually like to work on these teams. Whether you are curious about the tech, looking to get involved next year, or just want to explore, this is a great place to start.
๐ Location: BSB 137
๐ Time: 7:00 - 9:00 PM
๐ Food will be provided!
๐ฅ Featured Projects
InterfaceAI โ A Chrome extension that turns natural language into real browser actions using AI, automation, and computer vision
Glassbox LLMs โ A deep dive into how large language models actually work, with hands-on tools for understanding and testing AI behavior
Corkboard โ A mobile-first platform built to make Hamiltonโs local music scene more accessible, featuring personalized and map-based event discovery
After the showcase, stick around for food and an open social where you can:
Talk to project teams one-on-one
Ask about recruitment and how to get involved
Learn what actually goes into building and shipping these projects
Connect with other students interested in tech
This is our final event of the year and one of the best chances to see what GDG is all about before the next term.
Come see what real student-built tech looks like.
Come meet the people behind it.
And come figure out where you fit in.
